Ceramic Ball Valve

Ceramic Ball Valve

The Metslurry Ceramic Ball Valve is engineered for precise flow control in highly abrasive, corrosive, and chemically aggressive process environments where standard metal valves fail prematurely. Delivering up to 30 times the wear resistance of conventional alloy materials, it is the premium choice for long-service isolation and control in mining, mineral processing, and industrial slurry applications.

A full structural ceramic lining on all wetted surfaces prevents process media from ever contacting the metal valve body, eliminating corrosion, erosion, and contamination risks. With matched ceramic seat and ball sets, precision lapping, and a wide range of material and control configurations, Metslurry ceramic ball valves are built to perform where others cannot.

Features

  • Ceramics withstand severe abrasion, offering as much as 30X that of alloy materials.
  • Process media is prevented from contacting alloy body that is fully lined with structural ceramics.
  • Ceramics are nearly universally chemical resistant.
  • Full control options, including 4-20mA positioner and actuator.
  • Multiple ANSI and DIN flange standards available. ANSI 150,300 and 600 classes are also available.
  • Ceramic seat materials are selected on an application basis. Options include Alumina, Zirconia, Silicon Carbide and others.
  • Seat and Ball are lapped together in matched sets to insure positive sealing.
  • Materials are selected on an application basis. Options are include Super Duples Stainless STeal, Hastelloy, Stainless Steel, Cast steel and others.
